Dune landscape
The coastal dunes form a wide, largely unbuilt zone between the village and the sea. Paths wander across it and create a delicate pattern on the map.

Wassenaar Map Poster & Print
Wassenaar stretches between The Hague and Leiden, reaching from the edge of the city to the North Sea coast. It is known as one of the most affluent places in the Netherlands, and its map shows why. There are few dense terraces. Instead, winding lanes, large plots and estates sit among trees, and the pattern looks green and open even at small scale.
West of the village the built area gives way to the dunes of Meijendel and the neighbouring landscape, a broad band of sand, scrub and paths leading to the beach. Many diplomats live here because The Hague is so close. The Duinrell amusement park is within walking distance of the old village centre.
A Wassenaar map poster is defined by the contrast between orderly villa streets and the irregular dune country beside them. The coastline forms a clean edge on one side, and roads to the neighbouring cities cut across the other. In black and white the whole composition feels calm and spacious, much like the place itself.

Villa quarters
Curving lanes and generous plots give the residential areas an open, garden-like texture, very different from the tight grids of nearby Dutch cities.
North Sea coast
The straight shoreline runs along the western edge, a strong line that anchors the composition and marks where the dunes meet the beach.

Miért Wassenaar?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
Wassenaar holds meaning for families, diplomats and expats who have spent part of their lives among its lanes and dunes. A map of the village makes a fine keepsake at the end of a posting, especially with a personalised title, a subtitle marking the years and the coordinates line.
Paper and Sand suit the dune landscape, while Classic black & white and Noir emphasise the street pattern. Blueprint is the fifth option. The $9 download includes six sizes as 300 DPI PNG and PDF, and a free watermarked 900 px preview lets you check the result first.
