Westchester Map Poster & Print
Westchester is an unincorporated community in western Miami-Dade County, just west of Coral Gables. Its map is built on the county's numbered grid: avenues running north–south, streets running east–west, and between them a steady pattern of rectangular blocks lined with single-storey homes, most of them built in the decades after the Second World War.
Major arterials give the grid its structure. Coral Way and Bird Road cross the community from east to west, and the Palmetto Expressway runs near its eastern side, a thicker line with looping interchanges. Where canals appear, they are thin, straight channels, a reminder that much of South Florida was drained and engineered before it was built on.
The community has long been a centre of Cuban-American life in Miami, and Florida International University's main campus lies just to the west. A Westchester map poster shows how a simple grid can still feel distinct, with parks, school grounds and shopping plazas punctuating the rhythm of the blocks.

Tropical Park
The large county park at the community's eastern edge stands out with its lakes and open fields, a rare irregular shape within the rectangular street pattern.
Coral Way and Bird Road
These two broad east–west corridors cross the grid and carry much of the area's shopping and traffic, forming the strongest horizontal lines on the map.

Miért Westchester?
Egy térkép, ami jelent valamit
For families who settled in Westchester and built their lives around its schools, cafecito windows and shopping plazas, the grid is deeply familiar. A map lets you point to the exact block where it all happened and keep it on the wall.
Add your own title, a subtitle such as a surname or year, and the coordinates of the house. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then order a matte print with an optional wooden frame or download the $9 HD files.
