Compact town grid
The centre is a tight set of short blocks. In a minimalist print it reads as a small dense knot surrounded by a lot of empty paper, which makes it quietly striking on a wall.

Matões do Norte Map Poster & Print
Matões do Norte is a small municipality in the north of Maranhão, in the lowland interior between the state capital region and the drier country further south. From above, the town is a compact cluster of short streets. Around it, the map quickly thins into scattered settlements, tracks and wide open ground, so the built-up area stands out as one clear shape.
In black and white, the town has an honest simplicity. A few straight roads come in from the countryside and meet a modest grid, with blocks that loosen towards the edges. The pattern shows a place that grew where it was needed: a local centre for surrounding farms and villages, laid out plainly and without ornament.
A Matões do Norte map poster suits anyone who knows the town from the inside: the walk to the square, the road out towards relatives, the edge where houses give way to open land. Because the street network is small, the design holds the whole town in one frame, and every line on the sheet belongs to a real route.

Roads into the country
A handful of regional roads leave the town in different directions. They run out towards neighbouring communities and give the composition its structure, like spokes leaving a small hub.
Open Maranhão lowland
Beyond the last streets the land opens up. The map shows little more than scattered tracks here, a reminder of how much space surrounds a small municipality in northern Brazil.

Ինչու՝ Matões do Norte
Քարտեզ, որն ինչ-որ բան է նշանակում
People who grew up in a small town often have no picture of it that feels right. A clean street map does. It skips the postcard view and shows the layout that shaped daily life: the few streets everyone knows and the roads that led away.
You can set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example a family name or the year someone left for the city. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the digital files for $9 or order a printed poster.
