Clark Fork River
The river crosses the whole city from Hellgate Canyon westward. It divides downtown from the southern neighbourhoods and gives the poster a strong horizontal line crossed by a series of bridges.

Missoula Map Poster & Print
Missoula spreads across a broad valley floor in western Montana, and the Clark Fork River runs straight through it from east to west. Downtown occupies the north bank, with a compact grid of blocks near the old railway, while the university district and residential streets extend to the south. Mountains close in on several sides, so the built area has clear, natural edges on the map.
The city is often called the Hub of Five Valleys because several valleys converge here. It is also home to the University of Montana, whose campus sits at the foot of Mount Sentinel, where a large M on the hillside is a local landmark. Just east, the river emerges from Hellgate Canyon. Faint horizontal lines on the surrounding hills are the shorelines of prehistoric Glacial Lake Missoula.
A Missoula map poster shows the river as the organising line. Bridges stitch the two banks together, the grid shifts angle between neighbourhoods, and the streets stop abruptly where the slopes begin. Rattlesnake Creek feeds in from the north, adding a second thread of water. It suits alumni, anglers, hikers and anyone who has called this valley home for a season or a lifetime.

Campus and Mount Sentinel
The University of Montana campus lies where the street grid meets the base of Mount Sentinel. Its oval and quads end abruptly against the steep, unbuilt hillside.
Rattlesnake Creek
Rattlesnake Creek runs down from the north to join the Clark Fork close to downtown. It carves a narrow residential corridor into the hills and adds a second waterway to the map.

Ինչու՝ Missoula
Քարտեզ, որն ինչ-որ բան է նշանակում
Missoula gathers people for university years, river summers and mountain winters, and many leave with a strong attachment. A map poster keeps that geography in view. Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a graduation year, and adjust the coordinates line to mark the exact spot that mattered.
Pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The digital set costs $9 and covers six print sizes in 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF. You can also order a matte print, with or without a wooden frame, produced by partners in over 30 countries. A free watermarked 900 px preview comes first.
