Point Pleasant Map Poster & Print
Point Pleasant lies on the Jersey Shore in Ocean County, but its map is shaped less by the ocean than by inland water. The Manasquan River forms a broad edge to the north, and the south is fringed by creeks and the top of Barnegat Bay. Between them, residential streets fill almost every piece of land, cut into short blocks by the water.
The most distinctive line on the map is the Point Pleasant Canal, a straight, man-made channel that links the Manasquan River to Barnegat Bay and carries the Intracoastal Waterway along this stretch of the New Jersey coast. It slices cleanly through the land. The bridges that cross it are among the few fixed points in a place shaped by tides and boat traffic.
Along the shorelines, dredged lagoons push fingers of water into the neighbourhoods, so many houses back directly onto a dock. At poster scale the pattern is intricate and almost comb-like. A Point Pleasant map poster turns this mix of river, canal and lagoon into a clean black-and-white composition, with the Atlantic lying just past the edge of the frame.

Lagoon streets
Along the waterfront, residential streets end in narrow finger lagoons. The result is a comb-like pattern where land and water alternate in thin, parallel strips.
Manasquan River edge
The wide river mouth frames the northern side of the borough. Its irregular shoreline, marinas and inlets give the composition a strong, open upper edge.

Քարտեզ, որն ինչ-որ բան է նշանակում
For families who have kept a boat on the lagoons or spent every summer near the shore, this map holds a very particular geography. It makes a thoughtful gift for a new homeowner, or a reminder of a house by the water that has since changed hands.
Add a title such as a family name, a subtitle with the year you moved in, and keep or edit the coordinates line. Pick from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the canal and lagoons especially well.
