Angleton Map Poster & Print
Angleton is the county seat of Brazoria County in south-east Texas, on the flat coastal plain between Houston and the Gulf of Mexico. From above, the town is a clear grid of streets around the courthouse area, crossed by highways and rail lines and surrounded by open land.
The landscape here is shaped by water, with bayous and creeks winding slowly across the plain towards the coast. Oyster Creek runs near the town, and the Brazos River lies not far to the west. Fields, pastures and industrial sites fill the space between Angleton and neighbouring towns.
An Angleton map poster shows a small Texas county seat in its setting: the orderly central grid, the highways leading towards Houston and the coast, and the meandering waterways that give the flat land its character. It is a simple, well-balanced composition.
