Seen from above, ‘Anjarah is shaped by its terrain. The town sits in the highlands of northern Jordan, where roads climb and bend around hillsides instead of running straight. The surrounding Ajloun district is one of the greener parts of the country, known for olive groves and patches of oak and pine woodland.
