Asia is a small place on the island of Negros, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines, toward the island's southwestern side. It is not a large town, so the map is mostly about its setting. Scattered clusters of houses sit along roads, with farmland and slopes around them, and the Sulu Sea coast is never far away.
Seen from above, the landscape does most of the work. Roads follow the lowland and then climb into the hills. Small streams run down toward the sea. Farm plots and tree cover create varied texture.
