Two rivers meet
The Werribee and Lerderderg rivers join near the town. Their winding courses cross the valley floor and give the map its most organic lines.

Bacchus Marsh Map Poster & Print
Bacchus Marsh sits in a broad valley about fifty kilometres west of Melbourne, where the Lerderderg River joins the Werribee River. The town takes its name from Captain William Henry Bacchus, one of the early European settlers. Hills rise on most sides, and the Western Freeway passes along the valley on its way to Ballarat.
The valley floor has long been farmed, and Bacchus Marsh is known across Victoria for its apples and other orchard produce. The town is also known for its Avenue of Honour, a long row of elm trees planted to commemorate local soldiers who served in the First World War, which lines the eastern approach into town.
A Bacchus Marsh map poster shows the two rivers winding through the flat ground, the older town centre near their meeting point, and newer estates spreading into the surrounding farmland. The valley shape is easy to read, and the contrast between curving waterways and straight roads gives the poster a gentle, balanced composition.

Avenue of Honour
A long, straight avenue of memorial elms leads into town from the east. It is one of the best-known features of Bacchus Marsh.
Orchard valley
Farmland and orchards fill much of the flat ground around the town. On the poster they read as open, quiet space inside the ring of hills.

Bacchus Marshを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
Bacchus Marsh is a natural choice for people who grew up there, moved out from Melbourne for more space, or have family ties to the orchards. The valley setting makes it a calm, grounded map for a home.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, and choose from five styles. Sand suits the warm valley landscape, while Noir gives the rivers a stronger presence against a dark background.
