Baheri is a town in the Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh, on the flat plains of Rohilkhand. The town centre is dense, with narrow lanes around its market, and a few main roads lead out through fields to nearby villages and towns. From above, it looks like a tightly packed centre set in wide, open farmland.
The land here is agricultural and among the most fertile in northern India, with irrigation channels between the fields. Baheri lies toward the north of the district, not far from the Uttarakhand border, and roads lead from it toward the foothills of the Himalaya.
