Town grid
Regular blocks around the centre form the main mass of the map. They loosen and angle slightly at the edges, where they meet rising ground.

Bambuí Map Poster & Print
Bambuí lies in west-central Minas Gerais, in a landscape of low hills, pasture and cerrado vegetation. The Serra da Canastra and the headwaters of the São Francisco River are not far away. From above, the town is a moderate grid of streets on gently uneven ground, with roads leading out toward neighbouring towns across the farmland.
The layout is plain and practical. A central area with a square and church sits among regular blocks that stretch outward and bend where the terrain demands. Small watercourses cut across the surroundings. Rural roads, many of them unpaved, trace long curves across the hills, and on paper they become thin, graceful lines.
The town is also home to a campus of the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais, which brings students from across the region. A Bambuí map poster suits people who studied here, families rooted in the area, and travellers who passed through on the way to the Canastra highlands. It records a small place with clear edges in a very large landscape.

Country roads
Long rural roads wind away over the hills in soft curves. They give the surrounding space movement without cluttering the composition.
Streams and valleys
Small streams trace the low ground around town. Their fine, branching lines add a natural counterpoint to the man-made street pattern.

Bambuíを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
Bambuí is the kind of place people carry with them: a campus town, a family's home, or a stop near the Canastra. A clean map of it makes that tie visible without any fuss.
Add a graduation year or a name to the title lines and pick from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Buy the 300 DPI files for $9, or order a printed poster on matte paper with an optional wooden frame.
