Bargi Map Poster & Print
Bargi lies in the Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh, close to the Bargi Dam on the Narmada River. From above, the town is a modest cluster of streets and roads. The large reservoir behind the dam dominates the view, spreading through the valley in wide arms and inlets.
The dam, formally named Rani Avantibai Lodhi Sagar, is one of the main projects on the Narmada. It supplies irrigation and power across the region, and the reservoir is used for boating and fishing. Hills and forest surround the lake, and canals carry water outward from the dam.
A Bargi map poster puts a small settlement beside a very large body of water. The lake's broken shoreline, the straight line of the dam and the roads leading toward Jabalpur give the composition strong, simple shapes that read well from a distance.

Dam wall
The dam across the valley appears as a short, firm line against the reservoir. It marks where the lake ends and the river continues downstream.
Canal network
Irrigation canals run out from the dam across the farmland. They draw long, measured lines through the surrounding fields.
