Boali Map Poster & Print
Boali is a town in the Ombella-M'Poko prefecture of the Central African Republic, north-west of the capital, Bangui. It is best known for the Boali Falls on the Mbali River, a broad waterfall that drops over a rocky escarpment and is one of the best-known natural sights in the country.
The river is also the town's source of power for the region: hydroelectric installations near the falls supply electricity to Bangui. On a map, the town forms a small cluster of streets near the river, with a main road linking it to the capital and rural tracks spreading out across the surrounding forest and savanna.
A Boali map poster shows a landscape shaped by water. The course of the Mbali River, the break of the falls and the modest street pattern of the town create a quiet, well-balanced composition. It is a fitting image for anyone who has made the trip from Bangui to see the falls.

Hydroelectric works
Dams and power installations near the falls use the river's flow to generate electricity for Bangui, giving the site a practical as well as scenic role.
Road to Bangui
A main road links Boali with the capital to the south-east, running through a landscape of forest, savanna and small settlements.
