Calverton is a suburban community in Maryland, lying across the boundary of Montgomery and Prince George's counties in the corridor between Washington, D.C., and Baltimore. It is not a town with a traditional centre. From above, it is a patchwork of residential neighbourhoods, each with its own curving streets and cul-de-sacs, separated by wooded strips and larger roads.
