Valley streets
The streets follow the valley floor and curve along the river, giving the town a long, winding shape rather than a regular grid.

Catende Map Poster & Print
Catende lies in the Zona da Mata of Pernambuco, the band of rolling hills inland from the coast where sugar cane has been grown for centuries. The town sits in a valley, and on a map its streets follow the lower ground and the river, climbing a little way up the slopes on either side.
Catende is best known for its sugar mill, the Usina Catende, which was once among the largest in Latin America. The mill and its rail lines shaped the town's growth, and its large industrial footprint still stands out from the surrounding streets on the map.
A Catende map poster shows the relationship between the valley, the town and its industry in a few clear lines. In black and white, the curving streets that follow the land and the regular mill complex beside them tell the story of a place built around sugar.

Catendeを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
For people with family ties to the mill or the town, the map is a quiet record of where they come from. It suits a living room or study and can open a conversation about the region's history.
Add a title, subtitle and coordinates line of your choice, for example a family name or the year someone moved away. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
