Charikar Map Poster & Print
Charikar is the capital of Parwan Province, about an hour's drive north of Kabul. It sits where the Shomali plain meets the Hindu Kush, near the mouths of the Ghorband and Panjshir valleys. The main road north to the Salang Pass runs through the town, and it has long been a stopping point for travellers.
The surrounding plain is known for vineyards and orchards, and Charikar has a reputation for its grapes and for traditional crafts such as pottery and knife-making. On a map, the town is a compact grid of streets and bazaars along the highway, with irrigated fields fanning out into the plain.
A Charikar map poster pairs the orderly line of the highway and its market streets with the patterned fields beside it and the rising ground to the west. It is a simple, grounded image of a town at a crossroads of mountain routes.

Charikarを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
For Afghans in Parwan and the diaspora around the world, Charikar is associated with family, vineyards and the road north. A map poster is a quiet way to keep that place close.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line in Dari, Pashto or English. Choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand suits the plain and the dry hillsides particularly well.
