Charqueada Map Poster & Print
Charqueada lies in the interior of São Paulo state, near Piracicaba, in rolling country dominated by agriculture. From above, the town is compact: a modest grid of streets on gently sloping ground, bordered by cultivated land that reaches almost to the last houses.
Like many towns in this part of the state, its surroundings are shaped by sugarcane. Large fields cover the hills in broad, even blocks, and rural roads and small streams divide them. The town's own streets are simple and regular, and the countryside provides most of the map's texture.
A Charqueada map poster shows the relationship between a small Brazilian town and the farmland that supports it. The grid is small, the land is big, and the lines between them are clear and orderly.
