Rahway River loops
The river bends repeatedly through the middle of town. Its curves give the map a winding, organic line that sets Cranford apart from its neighbours.

Cranford Map Poster & Print
Cranford is a township in Union County, New Jersey, about twenty miles west of Manhattan. On the map, the Rahway River is its defining feature, winding in tight loops through the centre of town with parkland along its banks. Tree-lined residential streets fill the surrounding area, and a compact downtown sits beside the railway station.
The river's many bends and its canoe club have earned Cranford the nickname 'the Venice of New Jersey'. The town grew as a railroad suburb, and the Raritan Valley Line still carries commuters toward Newark and New York. County parkland runs along much of the riverbank.
A Cranford map poster combines a small-town downtown, a rail line and a meandering river in one detailed frame. The river's loops weave through the street grid, and green space along its banks adds open areas to the composition. It is an unusually lively plan for a suburban township.

Downtown by the station
The compact commercial centre sits next to the railway station. Short blocks and shopfronts cluster where the tracks cross the town.
Riverside parkland
County parks follow the river through much of Cranford. On the map they form a green ribbon along the water between residential streets.
