Denizciler lies in Hatay province on the eastern shore of the Gulf of İskenderun, in the far north-eastern corner of the Mediterranean. On the map, the town takes up a narrow strip of flat land. The sea lies to the west, and the Nur Mountains, also known as the Amanus range, rise quickly to the east.
That narrow space shapes the streets. The main road and the coastal traffic run parallel to the shore, and residential streets extend up the lower slopes toward orchards and higher ground. Where the land opens slightly, the streets form small grids. Where it narrows, the town becomes a thin ribbon.
The Gulf of İskenderun is one of Turkey's busiest industrial and port coasts, and settlements along it are closely tied to the sea and the roads that follow it. A Denizciler map poster shows that clear coastal geometry: water, a thin line of town and the mountains pressing close behind.
