Dursh Khela lies in the Swat valley of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in northern Pakistan, where the Swat River runs between forested slopes and cultivated terraces. The settlement follows the valley floor, with homes, lanes and fields arranged along the river and the main road, and the mountains rising closely on either side.
