Valley setting
The town sits on the lower ground of a valley, and its outline follows the shape of the land rather than a straight grid.

El Arrouch Map Poster & Print
El Arrouch is a town in Skikda Province in northeastern Algeria, set inland from the Mediterranean coast in a valley surrounded by hills. On a map, the town forms a compact settlement on lower ground, with roads threading through the valley and farmland spreading out around it.
The region is one of the greener parts of Algeria, with agriculture on the valley floor and wooded slopes above. The main road linking the coast to the interior passes through the area, and the town's streets branch off it in a pattern shaped as much by terrain as by planning.
An El Arrouch map poster shows the town at a scale where each street is visible and the surrounding landscape frames it. In black and white, the curving roads that follow the land contrast with the tighter blocks of the centre, giving a clear sense of the place.

Farmland edges
Beyond the built-up area, field tracks and small roads cross the valley floor and climb toward the hills that enclose it.
