‘Eyn-e Do is a small city in Khuzestan Province in southwestern Iran, lying close to the western side of Ahvaz. The land here belongs to the broad, level plain of Khuzestan, which gives the map a spare and horizontal quality: streets and blocks laid over open ground, with few natural obstacles to bend their course.
The province is defined by its rivers, above all the Karun, which flows through nearby Ahvaz, and by the agriculture and industry that grew up around them.
