Garston Map Poster & Print
Garston sits on the north bank of the Mersey in south Liverpool, between Aigburth and Speke. The map is shaped by the docks. Enclosed basins and quays line the riverfront, railway tracks run alongside them, and behind them lie rows of closely packed terraced streets that climb gently away from the water.
Garston was once a separate village and grew into a busy port in the nineteenth century, when railway companies built docks here to ship coal and goods. The docks are still in use, and their basins are a distinctive part of the south Liverpool shoreline.
A Garston map poster is a working-waterfront picture. The rectangular dock basins stand out against the natural curve of the estuary, and the fine repeating lines of terraced housing fill the land behind them. Road and rail lines tie the two together in a dense, textured composition.

Terraced streets
Rows of Victorian terraced houses create a fine, regular pattern of parallel streets running up from the river.
Rail and river edge
Railway lines run between the docks and the town, showing Garston's history as a place where rail met water.

Garstonを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
Garston has a strong local identity rooted in its docks and its village past. A map of the streets and quays is a thoughtful gift for anyone who grew up there or has family who worked on the river.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, then pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The Blueprint style suits the harbour lines well.
