Regular block grid
The town centre is laid out in even rectangular blocks, a crisp pattern that stands out clearly against the surrounding forest and farmland.

General Mosconi Map Poster & Print
General Mosconi lies in the far north of Salta province, along the national road that runs up toward the Bolivian border. The town forms a tidy block grid, typical of northern Argentine settlements, set against two contrasting landscapes. The flat, wooded Chaco plain extends to the east, and the first ridges of the sub-Andean ranges rise to the west.
The town is named after General Enrique Mosconi, the first director of the state oil company YPF, and the name fits. The area's modern growth was tied to oil and gas, and that industrial history is part of its identity. On the map, straight access roads and tracks leading out toward the hills hint at that working landscape.
A General Mosconi map poster frames the square grid of the town against the less regular country around it. In monochrome, the neat blocks, the highway edge and the scattered lines beyond make a composition that is orderly at the centre and open at its margins.

Northern highway
The national road toward the Bolivian border runs past the town, forming a strong north–south line along one side of the grid.
Foothills to the west
Wooded sub-Andean ridges rise beyond the town, and a wider frame shows roads fading into steeper, emptier ground.
