Contour-following roads
Main roads run across the slope in long curves at steady heights, a pattern that makes the shape of the hill easy to read without any shading.

Great Malvern Map Poster & Print
Great Malvern climbs the eastern face of the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire, a narrow ridge that rises abruptly from the Severn plain. The town became famous in the nineteenth century for its water cure, when visitors came to drink and bathe in the pure spring water that still flows from the hills. Malvern water is still bottled and sold today.
The slope defines the map. Roads run across the hill, following the contour lines in long, gentle curves, while short, steep links connect them. Villas and hotels built for spa visitors sit on terraces with views over the plain. Above the town, the lines stop and the open ridge of the hills continues to Worcestershire Beacon.
A Great Malvern map poster shows the town laid out against the hill, with the Priory and the old centre in the middle and the Victorian streets fanning out around it. Edward Elgar lived and walked in these hills, and many people know the landscape from his music. The map carries both the geography and the atmosphere of the place.

The open ridge
West of the town, the streets stop at the bare ridge of the Malvern Hills, leaving a clear, empty band that frames the built-up area.
Spa-era villas
Larger plots and winding drives on the upper slopes mark the villas and hotels of the water-cure era, visible as a looser texture above the centre.

Great Malvernを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
Great Malvern is loved by walkers, former pupils of its schools, Elgar admirers and people who simply grew up under the hills. A map that shows the town clinging to its slope is an instantly recognisable reminder.
Set the title, add a subtitle such as a year or a walking route, and adjust the coordinates. Choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand; Paper suits the town's Victorian character.
