Homagama Map Poster & Print
Homagama is a suburban town in the Colombo District of Sri Lanka's Western Province, southeast of the capital. It lies along the High Level Road, one of the main routes leading inland from Colombo, and on the map this road forms a strong spine through the town.
Around the centre, the map shows the typical pattern of the Colombo hinterland: winding lanes following the contours of low hills, patches of paddy fields in the valleys and scattered water bodies. As the metropolitan area has grown, new housing has filled much of this landscape.
A Homagama map poster captures the organic shape of the town. The main road, the web of smaller lanes, the green valleys and the ponds between them create a flowing composition, very different from a rigid grid, and true to the terrain.

Winding lanes
Smaller roads curve around hills and valleys, forming an organic network that defines most of the map.
Paddy valleys
Low-lying fields and water bodies sit between the built-up ridges, adding open spaces and soft outlines to the design.
