River and ponds
Water runs through the town along a shallow valley and widens into ponds, creating open shapes on the map that divide the built-up area into separate quarters.

Horodok Map Poster & Print
Horodok is a town in Khmelnytskyi Oblast in western Ukraine, in the historic region of Podillia. The surrounding landscape is a broad, gently rolling plain of fields and orchards, cut by shallow river valleys, and the town itself follows one of these valleys, with water and low ground running through its centre.
As in many Podillian towns, the river has been dammed into ponds, so from above the built-up area is interrupted by open stretches of water with streets arranged along their banks. Private houses with long garden plots make up much of the town, giving the map a fine, even texture.
The main roads run out toward Khmelnytskyi and the surrounding villages, dividing the countryside into large rectangular fields. A Horodok map poster presents a calm, agricultural setting: a modest centre, water through the middle and a clear pattern of roads and plots reaching into the land around.

Garden-plot streets
Long, narrow house plots with gardens line many streets, giving the residential areas a regular, finely striped pattern when seen from above.
Podillian fields
Beyond the edges of town, roads cross large, open fields, so the outer parts of the map show a wide agricultural grid typical of the region.
