Imara Daima is a residential estate in southeastern Nairobi, close to Mombasa Road, one of the main routes out of the city toward the airport and the coast. From above, it appears as a dense area of short, closely spaced streets, with rows of houses and apartment blocks arranged in regular groups.
The estate is well connected: the Mombasa Road corridor and the elevated Nairobi Expressway pass nearby, and a commuter rail station serves the area. On the map these transport lines form strong straight strokes along the estate's edge, in contrast with the finer residential streets inside.
