Old town lanes
Narrow, winding streets form a close-knit core around the main church and squares, much denser than the straight blocks added later.

Inca Map Poster & Print
Inca sits in the middle of Mallorca, in the Raiguer area where the plain rises towards the Serra de Tramuntana. On a map the town is a dense, irregular old centre ringed by newer streets, with the motorway and railway line from Palma running along its southern side.
Inca is known across the island for its leather and shoemaking tradition, which grew into a local industry and brought factory outlets to its streets. It is also known for Dijous Bo, a large autumn fair held on a Thursday that draws visitors from all over Mallorca.
An Inca map poster shows a working inland town rather than a coastal resort. The mountains lie just to the north, the farmland of the plain spreads south, and the street pattern shows centuries of growth, from winding lanes near the church to straighter blocks on the edges.

Rail and motorway
The railway and the motorway from Palma run in parallel along the town, two strong lines that tie Inca to the island capital.
Tramuntana foothills
North of the centre the land starts to climb towards the mountains, and roads begin to bend as the ground rises.
