Jaen is a municipality in Nueva Ecija, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines. The province is known as a major rice-growing area, and the landscape around Jaen reflects that: flat fields divided into rectangular paddies, crossed by irrigation channels and small roads. From above, the town centre forms a compact cluster of streets surrounded by this wide agricultural pattern.
