Jaguaribe Map Poster & Print
Jaguaribe lies in the interior of Ceará, in the semi-arid sertão of northeastern Brazil, beside the Jaguaribe river, the longest river in the state. On a map the town appears as a compact grid of streets, with the river and its broad valley running nearby. Beyond them, the landscape opens into wide, sparsely settled country marked mostly by roads and field boundaries.
The Jaguaribe valley has long been important for farming and cattle raising in a region where water is scarce. The river's flow varies strongly with the seasons, and the valley's reservoirs and irrigation have shaped much of the local landscape and economy.
A Jaguaribe map poster brings together a simple town plan and the curving line of a major sertão river. The streets create a dense, orderly centre, while the valley adds a flowing natural form. It is a quiet, balanced composition that reflects the relationship between a town and the water that sustains it.

Sertão surroundings
Around the town, open dry land stretches out with few roads, giving the design wide areas of quiet space around the built-up area.
