A long, straight sandy shoreline runs along the western edge. It gives the poster a clean, strong boundary.

Kadakkavoor Map Poster & Print
Kadakkavoor is in the Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala, on India's southwest coast. From above, the town lies on a narrow strip of land between the Arabian Sea and a system of backwater lagoons and canals. Roads and lanes run between houses and palm groves, and the water gives the whole area a clear shape.
This stretch of coast has a long connection with the sea and trade. The historic Anchuthengu fort, built by the English East India Company, stands nearby. The coastline is straight and sandy, while the backwaters behind it spread into irregular inlets that stand out sharply on the map.
A Kadakkavoor map poster sets the straight seaward edge against the curving shapes of the backwaters. Between them, lanes branch through a spread-out settlement of homes and trees. The result is an open composition in which the water is as important as the streets.

Backwater lagoons
Lagoons and canals lie behind the coast in irregular, branching shapes. They are the most distinctive feature of the map.
Palm-lined lanes
Narrow lanes run between houses and coconut groves. They form a fine, loose network across the strip of land between the waters.

Kadakkavoorを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
Kadakkavoor has a quiet pull for people who grew up between its sea and backwaters. For Keralites abroad, a precise map of home is a meaningful thing to hang.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with the Malayalam name or a family date. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint shows the water especially clearly.
