Keshod is a town in the Junagadh district of Gujarat, on the level farmland of the Saurashtra peninsula. From above, it looks compact and open. A denser centre of market streets sits in the middle, residential areas spread outward along the main roads, and a railway line crosses the town. Beyond the edges, fields take over, and the land stays mostly flat in every direction.
The town is home to Keshod Airport, which serves the wider Junagadh area and is one way visitors reach the region's temples and the Gir forest. Keshod is also a local trading centre for the surrounding villages and their farms. Its layout reflects that role, with roads converging on the market area from the countryside.
