Kırkağaç is a district town in Manisa province in western Turkey, set in the agricultural country between Soma and Akhisar. Its name is recognised across the country thanks to the Kırkağaç melon, a variety grown on the surrounding farmland and long valued in Turkish markets. Like many Anatolian towns, it combines an older centre of close-set lanes with newer districts.
