Kpalimé Map Poster & Print
Kpalimé lies in the Plateaux Region of south-western Togo, close to the border with Ghana. Unlike the flat coastal towns of the country, it sits at the edge of green, forested hills, and from above its streets gather in the lower ground and then thin out where the slopes begin. The centre is a compact web of roads around the market, with routes heading out towards Lomé and the hills.
The area around Kpalimé is known for coffee and cocoa, grown on the slopes, and for its crafts and artisans. Mount Agou, the highest peak in Togo, rises to the south-east. On the map the contrast is clear: a dense urban core, then a looser network of roads following valleys and ridges into the highlands.

Outside the centre, roads climb and bend into the forested hills of the Plateaux Region, making loose, winding lines towards the edges of the frame.
Towards Mount Agou
Togo's highest mountain rises south-east of town. A wider framing shows roads bending around its slopes, a sign of the highland country beyond the streets.
