Town grid
La Salud's streets form a small, regular grid. This layout, common in Cuban towns, gives the built-up area a clear and balanced shape from above.

La Salud Map Poster & Print
La Salud is in Mayabeque province, in the agricultural lowlands south of Havana. From above it has the simple shape of many Cuban country towns: a small grid of streets around a central area, with roads leading out into open farmland. The land is mostly flat, so the edges of the town are clean and easy to trace.
Mayabeque was created from part of the former Havana province, and much of it is still devoted to farming. A La Salud map poster shows that relationship. A small, orderly town sits among fields, and a few roads connect it to neighbouring communities and to the capital to the north.
Printed in monochrome, the town's regular blocks form a neat centre and the surrounding space stays nearly empty. It is a restrained image and an honest one, focused on the streets that people who know La Salud would recognise.

Surrounding farmland
Flat agricultural land surrounds the town on all sides. On the map it appears as open space, crossed only by country roads and field tracks.
Roads toward Havana
Main routes lead away from the town toward other communities in Mayabeque and north toward the capital. They link this small place to the wider region.
