Bay of Islands
Small wooded islands and sheltered channels lie just off the town. Their intricate outlines are one of the most distinctive features of this stretch of coast.

Lami Map Poster & Print
Lami is a town on the south coast of Viti Levu, just west of Suva, Fiji's capital. The Queens Road runs along the shoreline, and most of the town's streets branch uphill from it. Behind them, the land rises steeply into forested hills. On the map, Lami appears as a narrow strip of settlement squeezed between green slopes and the sea.
The coast here is deeply indented. Inlets, mangrove creeks and small islands form the sheltered waters known as the Bay of Islands, near the approaches to Suva Harbour. Boats moor in the quiet channels, and the shoreline is complicated and full of fine detail.
A Lami map poster brings that edge into focus. In monochrome, the coastline winds in and out around inlets and islands, the Queens Road draws a clear line along the water, and the hillside streets climb and branch above it. The result is compact and full of texture, a good fit for a smaller wall.

Queens Road
The main road follows the shoreline and links Lami with Suva to the east. It forms the spine of the town, with most streets branching away from it.
Hillside streets
Residential roads climb and curve into the hills behind the coast. Their winding lines contrast with the flat water and give the map a strong sense of height.
