Las Breñas Map Poster & Print
Las Breñas is a town in the southwest of Argentina's Chaco Province, on a wide plain dominated by farming. The land is almost completely flat. The town grew around its railway and follows a regular grid of square blocks that repeats evenly in every direction.
Outside town, the grid continues in the fields. Rural roads meet at right angles and enclose large rectangular plots. A Las Breñas map poster is therefore a study in straight lines, with only the railway breaking the pattern as it cuts across the town at an angle.
Farming shapes everything on this map, from the size of the plots to the grain storage beside the tracks. There are no mountains or coastline here. The town's character comes from its order and from the open space of the plain around it.
