Lāwar Khās is a town in Meerut district, in western Uttar Pradesh, on the flat and fertile land between the Ganga and Yamuna rivers. The surrounding countryside is intensively farmed, with sugarcane among the region's main crops, and villages and fields stretch in every direction.
From above, the town is a dense cluster of narrow lanes and closely built houses, typical of old settlements in this part of India. A few wider roads lead in and out, connecting it with nearby villages and the wider Meerut region, while the lanes inside twist and branch in an irregular pattern.
