Mamsapuram Map Poster & Print
Mamsapuram is a town in southern Tamil Nadu, in the plains east of the Western Ghats. The mountains stay in view on the western horizon, and water from their slopes feeds the tanks and fields that surround the town, which makes this a landscape shaped by irrigation as much as by roads.
From above, the town is a compact knot of streets with roads leading out to neighbouring villages. Around it lies a mosaic of fields, with the rounded shapes of irrigation tanks set among them. These reservoirs, typical of the region, appear on the map as smooth, irregular outlines.
A Mamsapuram map poster shows a quiet agricultural town in the deep south of India. The dense centre, the radiating roads and the scattered tanks give it balance, and the drawing reads clearly even at small print sizes.
