Menzel Abderrahmane is in Bizerte Governorate in northern Tunisia, on the shore of Lake Bizerte. This large coastal lagoon joins the Mediterranean through a channel at the city of Bizerte. From above, the town sits on its edge, with the broad expanse of the lagoon taking up much of the frame.
The town's streets run down towards the water, and the shoreline forms a clear boundary to the built-up area. Menzel Bourguiba lies further along the lake, and the land behind the town rises into cultivated countryside, with roads leading out towards Bizerte and the surrounding villages.
