Mitcham Map Poster & Print
Mitcham is in the London Borough of Merton, in south London. On the map it is mostly a dense pattern of terraced and semi-detached streets, with a few main roads running through toward Croydon, Tooting and Sutton. Two large open spaces break the pattern: the cricket green near the old village centre and the much larger Mitcham Common to the east.
Cricket has been played on Mitcham's green since at least the eighteenth century, and it is often described as one of the oldest cricket grounds in the world still in use. The town is also known for Mitcham Fair, a travelling fair with a very long history. The River Wandle runs along its western edge, lined with parks and old mill sites.
A Mitcham map poster shows a classic suburban London layout with a village centre still visible inside it. There are rows of houses, main roads meeting at the old centre, and the green and common as clear open spaces. In a minimalist print the balance between built-up streets and open land is especially easy to see.

Mitcham Common
To the east, the common is a large area of open grassland and woodland. It forms a wide empty shape among the surrounding residential streets.
River Wandle
The Wandle runs along the western side of Mitcham. Parks and paths along it form a green corridor through the south London streets.

Mitchamを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
Mitcham is home to many Londoners who know it street by street, and a map shows the local geography the wider city often overlooks. It is a good gift for a first home, a move away or a cricket lover.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates to mark a street, a school or a special year. The poster comes in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Paper and Classic suit its terraced streets especially well.
