Mitry-Mory Map Poster & Print
Mitry-Mory is a commune in Seine-et-Marne, on the northeastern edge of the Paris region. Its territory extends to the boundary of Charles de Gaulle Airport, and part of the airport grounds lie within the commune. On a map, runways and airport infrastructure fill one side of the frame with long, straight geometric shapes.
The town itself has several parts. Mitry-Bourg keeps the older village core with its church and winding streets, while Mitry-le-Neuf grew around the railway in the twentieth century as a residential district of houses and gardens. Mory, a former hamlet, adds another small cluster. Open farmland of the Plaine de France separates them.
Rail lines cross the commune, and Mitry–Claye station is a terminus of RER line B, linking it directly to central Paris. A Mitry-Mory map poster shows the contrast of village streets, suburban grids, fields and airport runways.
