Morley Map Poster & Print
Morley stands on high ground in West Yorkshire, between Leeds and Bradford and within the City of Leeds district. From above, the town centre sits along a ridge, and its streets run down the slopes in rows of stone terraces. Main roads leave the centre in several directions, and the M62 and M621 pass close by to the south and east.
Like much of the West Riding, Morley was a textile town, known in particular for shoddy and mungo, cloth made from recycled wool. Mills and chapels once punctuated the terraces. The Victorian town hall, with its tall clock tower, is still the building that marks the centre, and the future prime minister H. H. Asquith was born here in 1852.
A Morley map poster captures a town shaped by its hill: dense terraces close to the centre, looser estates further out, and green gaps where the land drops toward the valleys. The motorway lines at the edges add a modern frame to an older, tightly packed core.

Stone terraces
Rows of terraced houses built for mill workers fill the streets near the centre, drawn on the map as fine, closely spaced parallel lines.
Motorway edges
The M62 and M621 run near the town's southern and eastern sides, giving the map strong curved lines that mark where the town meets open land.

Morleyを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
Morley has a strong local identity despite sitting between two large cities, and people who come from here tend to say so. A map of the hilltop streets makes a quiet statement of that on a wall.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be changed, and the map comes in Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Choose the $9 HD files or a matte print, with or without a wooden frame.
