Mukah Map Poster & Print
Mukah lies on the central coast of Sarawak in Malaysian Borneo, where the Mukah River reaches the South China Sea. From above, the town sits on low land between the river and the shore. Its streets run close to the water, and roads lead inland across flat, wet country.
This is the heartland of the Melanau people, long known for producing sago from the palms that grow in the surrounding lowlands. The coastline runs as a long, smooth line, while the river loops and branches behind the town. Together they give the map a clear, watery framework.
Mukah is also associated with Kaul, the Melanau festival held by the sea to mark the new season. A Mukah map poster shows the town as it meets the water, with its river, coast and the grid of streets between them.

South China Sea coast
A long, fairly straight coastline runs past the town, giving the map a strong edge and a calm expanse of open water.
Riverside town
The town's streets cluster near the water, a compact pattern that reflects its long reliance on river and sea.

Mukahを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
For Melanau families and anyone connected to Mukah, a map of the town is a way to hold on to river, sea and home. It works well as a gift for relatives who have moved to Kuching, Kuala Lumpur or further away.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be changed to add a name, a date or a greeting. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint brings out the river and coast especially well.
