Nedumangād is a town in the Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala, set inland from the state capital where the coastal lowlands begin to rise into rolling hills. On a map the town has no rigid grid; its roads follow ridges and valleys, curving between clusters of buildings and wide areas of plantations, gardens and trees.
The town serves as the headquarters of its taluk, which extends into the higher country toward the Western Ghats.
