North Amityville is a hamlet in the Town of Babylon, Suffolk County, lying just inland from the village of Amityville on Long Island's South Shore. From above, it is a clear suburban pattern: short residential streets laid out in blocks, cul-de-sacs tucked between them, and major roads marking the edges.
