Enclosed bay
A broad bay, almost closed by land, fills much of the map. Its irregular shoreline is the defining shape of the town's setting.

Nuevitas Map Poster & Print
Nuevitas stands on the north coast of Camagüey province, on the shore of a large, almost enclosed bay. That bay is the main feature of the map. A wide body of water connects to the Atlantic only through a narrow channel, and headlands and mangrove edges curve around it. The town sits along the shore in a modest grid of streets that runs down to the waterfront.
The sheltered water made Nuevitas a working port, and the town has developed industry along the coast, including cement production and a power station. Small islets called Los Ballenatos lie in the bay near town. Beyond the shoreline, the land opens into flat country and scrub typical of this part of Camagüey.
A Nuevitas map poster is mainly a study of water and coastline. The irregular bay dominates, the narrow channel leads out to sea, and the small grid of the town sits at the edge of it all. The result is quiet and strong, suited to anyone who knows this stretch of coast or has family roots here.

Los Ballenatos
Small islets break the surface of the bay near the town. On the map they appear as delicate specks inside the open water.
Waterfront grid
The town's streets run down to the shore in a straightforward pattern of blocks. This regular grid contrasts with the free-form lines of the coast.

Nuevitasを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
Cuban families spread across the world often keep a strong attachment to their home town. A map of Nuevitas, showing its bay, its streets and its coast, is a simple way to bring that place into a home far away.
You can add a title, subtitle and coordinates line, in Spanish or English. Pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint shows the bay with particular clarity.
