Pacajus lies inland in the state of Ceará, in the wider metropolitan area of Fortaleza, south of the coast. From above, the town has a clear, compact core. A grid of short streets around the central square and church gives way to newer neighbourhoods, while main roads leave town toward the capital and the interior.
The surroundings are flat to gently rolling, with farmland, scattered settlements and the dry vegetation typical of northeastern Brazil. A Pacajus map poster does not rely on coastline or big landmarks. It shows how a Ceará town is actually built: dense in the middle, open at the edges, and threaded by roads that link it to Fortaleza and the regions beyond.
Small lakes and reservoirs, common in this part of Ceará, show up as irregular shapes near the town, adding softer outlines to the street pattern. In black and white, the map becomes a study in contrasts. There is a tight centre, a looser ring of growth and long regional roads running away toward the horizon.
