Perunād Map Poster & Print
Perunad lies in Pathanamthitta district in central Kerala, in the forested hill country east of the coastal plain. Its map is shaped by the land: roads follow river valleys and ridges, houses cluster along them, and much of the surrounding area is covered by plantations and forest. There is no grid here; the settlement pattern traces the terrain.
The area is closely associated with the route toward Sabarimala, the major hill shrine in the Western Ghats, and during the pilgrimage season the roads through the region carry large numbers of devotees. The Pamba River and its tributaries run through the district, giving the map its natural lines.
A Perunad map poster is a portrait of settlement shaped by hills and rivers. Roads curve along the valleys, small clusters of streets form at junctions, and wide areas of open space represent plantations and forest. It is a gentle, organic image, well suited to anyone who knows these green hill roads.

River courses
The Pamba river system runs through the area, its channels winding between the hills and giving the composition a natural flow.
Plantation hills
Large stretches of plantation and forest surround the settlement, appearing as calm open space that frames the roads and houses.
